Hiking around the lower paths in the valley isn't too challenging in the winter months, in fact pretty similar to hiking in Summer, but what about the higher paths?

You can of course try and walk in your normal winter boots, like the ones leading up to skiing areas or on the sledging tracks, some people choose to reach the not so accessible paths by using touring skis, but another option is to use snow boots or shoes giving the possibility to people who not that familiar with skiing to be able to reach higher regions which are normally out of their bounds.

Snow boots can be hired at numerous local companies, and if you are not sure when and where to go, they why not join a snow walking tour and be taken to the best spots.
